This contemporary urban style garden is located in Knaresborough.

When I first visited this garden it had a big garage with a small patio with artificial lawn on it. 

​

Our Clients  decided to undertake a major refurbishment to modernize the house with a new conservatory and the garden for entertaining, low maintenance and dog friendly.

​

The main area is 8 x 6 meters, its a south oriented garden.

The brief was to open up the view down the garden, and include seating/dining area with a BBQ area, a pergola to protect it from the weather and shower area for muddy boots and pooch next to the conservatory entrance.

We had to re design the access points to make the garden functional.

​

Bespoke fencing was done to provide privacy from neighbours and footpath adjacent to the house, a low maintenance dog friendly planting scheme for convenience, and a small pergola with polyacrylic on the top was created.

The terrace was raised screened by planting using a light grey stone and pale gravel that goes well with the brick house.

 

Planting includes various shrubs, perennials and bulbs to give interest throughout the year.
